Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What should I expect when attending a church service?
Green Brook Baptist Church services are held on Sundays at 11:00 AM at 170 Greenbrook Rd, Green Brook, NJ 08812. Parking is available in the rear of the church building. You're welcome to arrive as early as 10:30 AM, and you can expect to be greeted by members of the church who have volunteered to serve as Ushers & Greeters for the day. They can answer your questions and usher you to seating.

As part of the service, you're invited to engage in worship through music provided by our Praise & Worship Team. If you're comfortable, you can even sing along! After the church service, there is a lunch fellowship. This is a time to break bread with church attendees, meet people, and enjoy time together.

  2. Do I have to dress up to attend church service?
No.  Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at Green Brook Baptist Church. While some do wear their “Sunday best”, you’re also likely to see people in jeans. You're welcome to come as you are, however you feel ready to worship God.

  3. What do you offer for children on Sunday morning? During Sunday church service, children attend their own Sunday School Class. There is an opportunity for them to have snacks during this time.

  4. What do you offer for toddlers?
Nursery care is provided for toddlers during the Church Service. The nursery includes a play area with toys for the children.

  5. Can kids stay in the main Church Service?
We think your kids will probably enjoy Sunday school more than the service, but if you’d like to have your kids sit with you through the service you are more than welcome to do so.

  6. How do I get involved?

Attending church service is a great start! We hope you'll engage with the church community beyond Sunday morning service. Ideas for getting more involved include:
    a. Joining a Life Group
    b. Serving as a Sunday greeter. Contact the Ushering Chairperson to learn more.
